  This coverage contains significant bear areas for the Town of Stratton,  
Vermont.  A significant bear area is defined as a road crossing critial to 
bears, and all areas within 400 meters of that road crossing.  These data  
were developed for the Stratton Planning Commission with the assistance of 
Forrest Hammond, biologist with the Springfield office of the Vermont      
Department of Fish and Wildlife.
